چکیده

Developing low-cost, high-durability and high-performance electrocatalytic materials are needed for hydrogen/oxygen evolution (HER/OER) oxygen reduction reactions (ORR) which crucial steps regenerative fuel cells. Although Pt-based, RuO2 IrO2 widely used these purposes, other alternative required with desired properties. In this regard, we studied the electrochemical properties of lanthanum-based perovskites were synthesized by sol-gel method. We investigated addition 10% Dy 30% Sr into A site a small amount Bi (x: 0, 0.03 0.1) added B La0.60Dy0.10Sr0.30Mn(1-x)BixO3 on HER, OER ORR in 1 M KOH alkaline media at room temperature. While 0% 3% exhibited poor HER activities, effect structure enhanced activities lowering onset potential from -1.389 V to -1.036 (vs. Ag/AgCl) increasing specific current density -1.4 -13.3 mA cm-2 -121.8 cm-2. Similarly, activity was also improved due found be 0.758 88.3 cm-2, respectively. The large Tafel slopes indicate that mechanism is possible but slow rate. resulted very high resistance 19.3 kΩ it reduced value 3.5 ion conducting paths developed catalysts.

Electrochemical Characterization of Low-Cost Lithium-Iron Orthosilicate Samples as Cathode Materials of Lithium-Ion Battery

Lithium-iron-orthosilicate is one of the most promising cathode materials for Li-ion batteries due to its safety, environmental brightness and potentially low cost. In order to produce a low cost cathode material, Li2FeSiO4/C samples are synthesized via sol-gel (SG; one sample) and solid state (SS; two samples with different carbon content), starting from Fe (III) in the raw materials (lo...

Structure and properties of complex hydride perovskite materials.

Perovskite materials host an incredible variety of functionalities. Although the lightest element, hydrogen, is rarely encountered in oxide perovskite lattices, it was recently observed as the hydride anion H(-), substituting for the oxide anion in BaTiO3. Here we present a series of 30 new complex hydride perovskite-type materials, based on the non-spherical tetrahydroborate anion BH4(-) and n...
